A Referral Agent is a licensed real estate professional who focuses solely on referring clients for real estate transactions. They do not actively participate in property sales but have the potential to earn from referrals.

If you hold a real estate license but no longer actively sell properties, we are the perfect fit for you. By joining our brokerage, you can maintain an active license and continue referring family, friends, and customers to any real estate agent or brokerage worldwide.

You have the freedom to refer your business to any real estate agent or brokerage of your choice, provided you negotiate a referral commission with them or use our wide range of professionals from our parent company network Realty ONE Group.

Excellence Referral Group is a licensed brokerage in Maryland (MD), and with Washington D.C., Virginia (VA) and Pennsylvania (PA) coming soon. However, you can refer business to any brokerage in any state.

Agents who join us are not REALTOR® members and do not gain access to the MLS. We are a no-frills brokerage, which means you can avoid the obligations of joining local MLS, real estate boards, or the National Association of Realtors.

YES! You would refer yourself to an agent just as you would any other buyer or seller.

PLUS, when you are buying or selling your own home, your split will be 90% instead of the standard 80%.

To keep your license active, you'll need to fulfill the required Continuing Education (CE) courses for renewal.

Our cost structure is straightforward and comprises a yearly membership fee covering license holding from January 1st to December 31st (or prorated based on your joining month). There is also an initial license transfer fee, which varies per state $25 for MD. Aside from these fees, there are no hidden costs.

We offer two commission plans to cater to your needs:

- Black Plan: $99/year for a 50/50 Commission Split

- Gold Plan: $199/year for an 80/20 Commission Split

We allow our agents to design their own business cards. The card should include the brokerage name, " Excellence Referral Group of Maryland," and the office phone number "443.233.6156"
